One of my performance goals for the year was to write a white paper based on some framework software that I built this year (found this useful page http://www.stelzner.com/copy-g-HowTo-whitepapers.php discussing what that will involve). I think the paper will center around our stack, the java stack (jsf,shale,tile,sitemesh/spring-mvc + spring/hibernate) the ruby on rails framework and how each of those compares to one another.
